Here is a recipe to try it out at home. Red and yellow bell peppers are an all time favorite of mine. I ate this sauce on seared New York Strip.
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and heat through. Filet Mignon cooked in red wine. Served over white rice with chow mein noodles over top. I did add a little butter and allowed the sauce to reduce a bit while the steaks rested.
The main key to having this turn out great is using an excellent red wine that you want to drink. Hope that you enjoy it. I hope you like this idea. Add the red wine and simmer until it reduces by half.
